RESILIENCE AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AGED 6-18

Over 1.5 million pupils in England have special educational needs (Gov.uk), meaning that it is likely for every classroom to have at least one pupil who requires additional support.

Understanding the needs of our young people is becoming increasingly important, but it is vital that the young people themselves understand how to manage their mental health.

This workshop can be delivered in 1 day for up to 15 students and 2 teachers at a time. Those participating will learn to:

  • Effectively manage their emotions and learn strategies for managing emotional dysregulation
  • Understand their warning signs and subsequent behaviours
  • Recognise anxiety and put coping strategies in place
  • Ask for support when they need it
  • Understand their individual needs & strengths
  • Build on their strengths to learn resilience within school and home

Benefits of our neurodiversity workshop for schools:

  • Builds a supportive and inclusive environment for all
  • Enhances student wellbeing
  • Improves communication among learners and between students & staff
  • Reduces stigma of SEN and neurodiversity
