Hi there! We are Sal and Emily, co-founders of Strive. Bringing together our independent coaching practices, we created Strive to encourage the growth of our young people’s support network by involving everybody around them in the coaching process. We have seen that this wider support provides much better outcomes, giving young people and those around them the tools and strategies they need to manage their mental health and wellbeing moving through the rest of their lives.
Our education and training, as well as our work within various education settings and personal experiences, have enabled us to create a unique programme which focuses not only on the coachee, but their families and teachers also.
We are passionate about building everlasting skills and strategies, and empowering neurodiverse individuals to take control of their own lives. Working alongside counsellors, teachers, pastoral support and others, we provide in depth, individualised coaching to our young people. Understanding that no two people or families are the same, we tailor sessions to the needs of our clients. In addition, we both work with adults who have diagnosed or suspected ADHD to build strategies for managing their symptoms and thriving rather than just surviving.
We both have lived experience of ADHD and other neurodiversities - meaning that we have had to navigate the trials and challenges these can bring in all aspects of life. Our aim is to provide a supportive and understanding environment for our young people, showing them that they too can overcome difficult experiences, and giving them a safe space to express how they feel.
So, our mission is a simple one; to empower minds, ignite potential and nurture growth for all involved in the coaching process.
